Welcome to Kappa Alpha Theta at the University of Colorado! The members of our chapterare truly some of the most dedicated and loyal students, friends and sisters who embody the Theta spirit and attitude every day of their college careers and beyond. As a chapter, we aim to explore, develop, and enrich the four points of the kite—true values of scholarship, presentation, leadership, and personality. As a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, creating a lifelong sense of sisterhood, celebrating and embracing diversity and becoming a well-rounded college woman is a goal we all share.
We pride ourselves in leading balanced lives; we strongly prioritize academics, participate in community service activities, create exciting sisterhood events, and plan socials with other Greek organizations to further develop our bonds and relationships. Beta Iota is a leader the Greek community in academics and philanthropic efforts.
"Leading Women" is a saying that the women of the Beta Iota chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta take to heart. Our members and alumnae are high achieving individuals who constantly strive to reach higher and be the strong and powerful women we were meant to be. With alumnae role models like Laura Bush, Sheryl Crow and Tory Burch, we have big shoes to fill and amazing women to look up to who also share a special Theta bond.
With our strong values, sense of sisterhood, and passion for life, the members of the Beta Iota chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta aim to get the most out of their college experience and life beyond the University of Colorado. The members of this chapter truly encompass all that Kappa Alpha Theta stands for and it’s a privilege to have such amazing sisters and serve as president to such an amazing chapter.
